L’une des plus fameuses pilotes de vaisseau est une adolescente insolente du nom de Yamamoto Yohko. Malheureusement, un accident particulièrement étrange lors d’une mission l’aspire, avec le reste de son équipe, dans une faille spatio-temporelle qui la renvoie en 1999. Amnésique, elle vit alors une simple vie de collégienne mais progressivement des flashback de ses batailles spatiales lui reviennent. C’est alors qu’en commençant une partie de jeu vidéo, elle rejoint son ancien vaisseau le TA-29 et son groupe de Terra, afin de redevenir la victorieuse pilote intergalactique Yamamoto Yohko. Mais cette guerre ressemble bizarrement à un jeu d’arcade...
