Sa passion c’est le baseball et il a un vrai don pour ce sport, il a une force incroyable, il fait des Home Run à tous les coups. Un jour le directeur de son école, ayant vu un de ses Home Run à l’entraînement, compare son coup de batte à celui d’un Swing de golfeur. Mais Dan Doh pense que le golf est un sport de vieux où il faut juste taper dans une balle immobile. Le directeur voulant lui montrer que ce n’est pas si facile que ça lui demande alors d’essayer. Après plusieurs tentatives, il réussit enfin son coup et il éprouve une sensation différente de celle du base-ball, il trouve ça calme et reposant. Et décide d’arrêter le baseball pour devenir golfeur professionnel, sa motivation vient surtout du fait qu’il a appris qu’un golfeur peut gagner un million de Yen pour un tournoi ! Il veut utiliser cet argent pour faire revenir sa mère, qu’il n’a plus vu depuis sa tendre enfance. Dan Doh et ses deux meilleurs amis rencontrent Mikiyasu Shinjyou, ancien golfeur professionnel, et lui demandent d’être leur professeur. Durant son entraînement un junior du club de golf de son école lui lance un défi, en lui demandant de s’inscrire au tournoi de golf junior de Kumamoto. A-t-il le même talent pour le golf que pour le baseball ?
